This week's thing is all about "wiki's".
Although I've only ever really used wikipedia before, and that's because when I've normally done a google search that seems to pop up in the first lot of retrieved records. I do find it fairly reliable for those trivial questions.
I took a look at some of the linked wiki's in this weeks exercise, the "Library Success" wiki does have a lot of information. It resembles wikipedia to me though. It's something I might go back to in the near future and have a better look at the content.
When I search for personal interest wiki's I didn't have much luck at first, but after a couple of attempts I found a lot of perhaps useful wikis to browse through during my spare time.
Good reflections. They are just one tool to use...and now you know more about them and their possible uses.
ReplyDeleteDid you know our Library SharePoint site has a wiki?- The 'Procedures' are is a wiki. Take a look!
